Before additional directives, the UGC had prohibited universities and other higher education institutions from providing distance learning options for diploma, bachelor's, and postgraduate engineering and technology programmes other than MBA and MCA.
Your distance learning degree is legitimate for the Civil Services or another national or state-level competitive test.
