IGNOU has extended the deadline for new and renewal registrations

On the IGNOU's official website, ignou.ac.in, applicants can register for new admissions. New admission to IGNOU 2022, the last date, has been extended by Indira Gandhi National Open University to September 9th. Admission authority extended the last date to re-register IGNOU 2022 to September 9th. Previously, August 25th was the final day for new and renewal registrations. To apply, candidates should go to ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in or ignou.ac.in.

Admissions in IGNOU take place twice a year (January/July). The marks obtained in the qualifying examination are used to determine admission to the undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and postgraduate diploma programs (Merit-based). For admission to B.Ed., Post Basic B.Sc. Ph.D. programs, and Nursing, IGNOU administers entrance exams.

On the university's official website, candidates can check their admission status for IGNOU. Students who have finished the IGNOU registration process can check their admission status on the IGNOU admission status page with the registration number they entered. Every two months, the university also sends students email and phone alerts alerting them of the acceptance or denial of their application for admission. How to fill IGNOU 2022 Application Form

The specific steps to filling out the IGNOU registration form are listed below.

  • Visit ignou.ac.in or ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, the official IGNOU websites.
  • To register, click the "Click here" tab.
  • Click the submit button after finishing the registration form.
  • From the course list, choose the IGNOU program (elective/optional).
  • Press the "Next" button after entering the verification information.
  • Utilize net banking, a credit card, a debit card, or UPI to pay the registration fees.
  • Send in your application and keep a copy for your records.

On July 22nd, IGNOU's June term final exams began. They will last until September 5th. As of August 24th, the university has begun announcing the IGNOU June term final exam results. Additionally, IGNOU has announced the schedule for the practical test for the June TEE 2022 on August 24th.

IGNOU Exam Centre

All students registered to take the midterm test can see the list of exam locations on the IGNOU website. Exam centers where students take tests for all courses will be assigned based on their preferences.

IGNOU arranges the term-end examination twice a year, in June and December. With thousands of students enrolling in IGNOU, it is essential to have enough exam centers located around the nation. More than 653 exam centers have been established nationwide by the university, according to the IGNOU Exam Center List.

After submitting the exam application using an online portal, you have five days to modify the exam center. Students can use that portal to submit requests. After then, requests to change the exam location won't be considered.
