IIFM in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, started this institute to provide expert knowledge about Forest Management and was established in 1982. It is an autonomous public institution approved by AICTE and ranked 62^nd among the Top MBA colleges by NIRF in 2019. This imparts all the necessary managing information in the areas like a forest, the maintenance of natural resources, and the environment associated with such sites through management education. IIFM has a campus area of 217 acres and basic facilities such as a Computer Centre, Hostel, Library, Transportation, etc.

The institute offers PG programs related to Forest Management and allied areas like PGDM, PGP, and M.Phil. Programs. All these PG programs are two years courses with full-time and on-campus conduct.

IIFM offers PGDFM and PGP courses with only one specialization, i.e., Forestry Management. The other PGP specializations are Sustainable Management of Resources and the Environment. The eligible student should have completed their Under Graduation in a recognized University with a 50% aggregate and should be eligible to appear for competitive exams like CAT/ XAT. IIFM fee structure for PGDFM and PGP is INR 6.24 Lakhs for the entire course.

IIFM in Bhopal also facilitates a hostel built within the college campus. The IIFM hostel fee structure ranges from INR 16.5 K to 50 K, depending upon the candidates' type of occupancy.
