Government Degree College located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, was established in the academic year of 1997 to promote the educational development of privileged classes, including weaker sections, to protect them from all sort of injustice and exploitation; to improve human resource development of the area and to develop the skills, competence, and expertise of the people and to conduct research and training programs for increasing the level of knowledge in various fields. The Institution was approved by NAAC and is affiliated with Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University.
