B.Tech at the University of Mumbai is a flagship programme. It is available in various specializations. Students must ensure the eligibility criteria before applying for admission.

  • To be eligible, students must pass their 12th exams with at least 55% aggregate marks in relevant subjects like Physics, Mathematics, English, and Chemistry.
  • Apart from passing the 12th exams, students must also sit for the MHT CET.

Admission to the B Arch program is based on the applicant's merit and performance on the NATA entrance exam.

  • Admission to the B. Arch course requires students to secure more than 50% aggregate marks in class 12th exams under a centrally approved board. Moreover, passing marks are required even in relevant subjects such as Drawing, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Students in reserved categories such as SC and ST can seek admission with a 5% mark relaxation.

Mumbai University BA and Integrated BA Admission

Affiliated colleges under University offer admission to the five-year integrated degree BA+MA and three-year BA. These courses accept students based on their merit from the previous qualifying exams. The basic eligibility criteria for BA admission state that:

  1. Students must have passed their High School exams with at least 50% aggregate marks in any subject but under a centrally approved board only.
  2. It is compulsory to study English at the 12th level of the class.

According to the information on the Admission portal, students willing to seek admission into the full-time, 3-year-long B. Mumbai University B.Ed Admission

The full-time, 2-year-long B. Ed at the University is another popular program that accepts graduates from all the streams as long as they obtain their bachelor's degrees from UGC-approved universities. However, students shall have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in their previous qualifying exams at graduation. Lastly, admission will be provided only to a few shortlisted students selected from the merit list of Mumbai University.

Mumbai University B Pharm Admission

The University offers admission to its full-time, 4-year-long B. Pharm course. Students must pass their class 10+2 exams with at least 50% aggregate marks, especially in relevant subjects like Biology and Chemistry.

Mumbai University LLB Admission

The full-time LLB at the University of Mumbai is available for three years. Interested students who wish to study the LLB course at this institution must have completed graduation with not less than 45% aggregate marks. The selection of the applicants is based on MHT LAW CET. It is a state-level entrance test to offer admission to deserving applicants for Law courses.

Mumbai University UG Admission

The UG Courses provide students ample opportunities to hone their skills and become efficient employees. A wide variety of objects are taught in these courses, complemented by a robust infrastructure and teaching pedagogy.

The admission criteria for most of the UG courses at the University have been stated:

  • Students who have passed their class 10+2 exams must do so with more than 45% aggregate marks. However, some programs might have a 5% mark relaxation for students belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST).
  • Fy Bcom admission will be granted based on merit from the previous qualifying exams in the leftover courses. However, that may lead to certain requirements for relevant subjects in class 10+2.

Candidates seeking admission to the BMS+MBA integrated degree must appear for the Mumbai University Entrance Exam, commonly known as MUCMET. It is a state-level entrance test administrated in offline mode.

  • As per the Exam Pattern, the exams will have four sections. Candidates are required to attempt 100 MCQ in 2 hours. Each section comprises 25 questions. No Negative Marking.
  • There is no pertinent Exam Syllabus for MUCMET. However, candidates can prepare from several management preparation books.
  • Soon after the admission process commences, exam dates for Mumbai University will be available online via the website.

Mumbai University M Tech Admission

The University M. Tech is a full-time 2-year course available only to those applicants who have passed their qualifying bachelor's degree exams with at least 50% aggregate marks and from a UGC-approved university. Moreover, the domain of a bachelor's must be similar to what is being pursued at the Master's. Lastly, students must take the GATE exam as final admission will only be based on engineering exam results.

 

Mumbai University MA Admission

Amongst the Master's courses, the MA program is full-time 2 years long and accepts students based on merit from the previous qualifying exams. Applicants must have passed their graduation exams from a UGC-approved university with 45% aggregate marks.

  • Students must obtain a relevant bachelor's degree, such as B. Com, B. Ed, BA, B. Sc, B. Tech, etc, from a recognized institution.
  • Different disciplines have various admission exams that the respective departments conduct. Usually, these entrance exams include a domain-specific test and an essay section followed by interviews.

 

Mumbai University M. Sc Admission

The University M. Sc is a full-time 2 years long program that accepts graduates only from relevant fields, especially the B. Sc ones. The UG degree must have been obtained from UGC-approved institutions by obtaining more than 45% aggregate marks. Students will be nominated for admission based on their previous merit only.

 

Mumbai University MBA Admission

MBA at Mumbai University is a full-time 2 years long course. Therefore, students, especially fresh graduates, seeking admission to the MBA must satisfy a few eligibility criteria points, including the ones mentioned.

How to get admission to Mumbai University

Step 1: Mumbai University Online registration: The first step of the admission process is online registration. Interested candidates must visit Mumbai University's official website and register themselves. A registration fee has to be paid online while filling out the application form. Step 2: Filling out the Mumbai University application form: After successful registration, candidates must fill out the application form with all the mandatory details such as personal details, academic details, course preferences, and contact details. Mumbai University offers PG Diploma and PGDM programs that give out outcomes similar to the MBA program. The minimum requirement is to have passed a graduation degree from a recognized University with a min of 50% mark.
