University Institute of Technology (UIT RGPV) was started in 1986 by Madhya Pradesh Government. The college is affiliated with RGPV, and AICTE approves the courses offered by UIT. Moreover, NAAC accredits UIT with an 'A' Grade. B Tech at UIT RGPV Bhopal is available in 8 disciplines.

University Institute of Technology B Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria :

• For admission to the B Tech at UIT RGPV, candidates must have completed a 12th-grade examination from a recognized board, with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology as a third subject.
• Candidate must score a minimum of a combined aggregate of 45%  as a qualifying score in intermediate.
• In the case of SC, ST, and OBC (except Creamy Layer), they will have 5% of relaxation.
• B Tech Selection Criteria at UIT RGPV is based on the student's performance in JEE Main Entrance Test followed by Counselling.
• DTE, Madhya Pradesh Government, manages the Online Counselling. Henceforth, candidates have to register online for DTE, MP Counselling by logging into their respective websites.
• Since UIT is a public college, admissions are strictly based on JEE Main merit. To secure admission seats, candidates have to satisfy the University Institute of Technology JEE Main Cut off.
• If candidates JEE Main merit rank is equal to the cut off criteria, then there will be a high chance of securing a B Tech admission seat in UIT via online Counselling.
• DTE MP Online counselling concludes the steps such as online registration, displaying merit list, document verification, Option filling round and final step will be seat allocation process.
• Those candidates who satisfy the UIT RGPV B Tech cut off criteria have to choose UIT as their college preference during the Option filling round.

University Institute of Technology ME Admission:

• Candidates seeking admission to ME courses at UIT must have completed a BE / B.Tech or equivalent degree in the respective branch with at least 55%.
• The selection criteria for M Tech at UIT depends on the GATE score followed by DTE MP Counselling.
• Candidates are required to visit the website of DTE MP to register online for Counselling. The final seat allotment will be done via Counselling based on merit rank.
• The m tech merit list is prepared by compiling the scores of GATE.

University Institute of Technology MCA & M.Sc Admission

In addition to the M Tech, UIT offers admission to the MCA & MSc at PG level. Candidates willing to apply for PG courses at UIT Bhopal must make sure of the eligibility terms. The MSc degree at UIT RGPV is available in the Applied Mathematics stream. While the annual intake for MCA is 60 seats.

• UIT follows the admission guidelines prescribed by DTE, Madhya Pradesh Government. Henceforth, admissions are provided through online Counselling.
• Candidates seeking admission to the MCA at UIT must have completed a UG degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the BCA degree or equivalent stream.
• For admission to the MSc at UIT, candidates must score a minimum of 50% in UG degree BSc concerned discipline.
• The final seat allocation for both MSc and MCA will be done through Counselling, managed by DTE, MP.
