B Tech admission at Sikkim Manipal University 

Candidates who are willing to secure admission to the B Tech at SMU must appear for any of the following entrance exams specified below.

General Category, North East, GTA, Defence, Paramilitary Force Categories: Candidates belonging to these categories must appear for the JEE Main Entrance exam and secure a valid score to get eligible for admission. Qualified candidates with a valid score can fill up the SMIT application form and submit it as per the prescribed date.

MU-OET Category: Aspirants willing to secure admission under the MU-OET quota must appear for the entrance exam MU-OET conducted by Manipal University, Karnataka. At first, candidates are required to fill the application form, and it should be submitted to the respective university via offline mode.

Sikkim Category: Applicants who are seeking to secure admission under Sikkim Category must apply for DTE, HRD, Government of Sikkim to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the respective government.

SMIT Offline Test: Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, which is the component part of SMU.It will conduct the offline entrance exam to provide admission to the B Tech courses.

MBBS Admission at Sikkim Manipal University 

Admission to the MBBS course in SMU, offered based on the NEET-UG valid score. Candidates who have passed in 12th examination with at least a 50% score in the science stream are eligible to apply.

Candidates aspiring to secure admission to the MBA at SMU must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any discipline. SMU will consider the valid CAT score, MAT or GMAT to shortlist the eligible candidates. After that, shortlisted candidates are required to participate in Group Discussion & Personal Interview round for further selection process. • At first, visit the university’s official website, click on “Apply online,” and then register with a mobile number and email ID.
• Upon successful registration, applicants will receive the verification code to the registered mobile number or email.
• After verification, candidates are required to log in by using the credentials (Application Number & Password). Upon successful login, the page will direct to the application form portal.
• Proceed to fill up the necessary details in an application form and upload the Photo and signature scanned images in a prescribed format.
• After that, submit the application form online. Once the form is successfully submitted, the page will redirect to the online payment portal.
• Applicants required to pay the stipulated application fee charges according to their course.
