Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2023
Smt established SDPS Women’s College. Bharatiya Prabhadevi Sojatia Women’s Welfare Society in the academic year 2003. This college offers several professional courses in disciplines such as Fashion Design, Interior design, Architecture, Nursing, etc. It is affiliated with the Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Indore, and Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Viswavidyalara, Bhopal, as it offers a course in the architectural field so it is recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA).
- To take UG and PG admission in SDPS, one can apply through the offline application process. Candidates who meet the basic eligibility of the individual course will be allowed to use and will be allotted with seat receptive to their eligibility.
- The selection process for most of the courses will be made based on performance in academics and the previous qualifying examination. To some of the classes, SDPS Women’s College admission will be based on the entrance exam and others through merit.
- SDPS Women’s College courses are B.Design in Fashion Designing, Interior Designing, Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), BBA, B.Com, and B.Sc. in Nursing degree course. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course also offers, and PG program is M.Sc. in streams like Psychiatric Nursing, Community Nursing, and Medical-Surgical Nursing.
- The admission for the B.Des program will be made on essential eligibility criteria of 10+2 passed and must have secured valid score in the entrance exam. The final round of the selection process will be a personal interview.
- The SDPS Women’s College admission for B.Arch will be on the NATA entrance exam, and 10+2 passed with a minimum 50% aggregate having mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Eligibility for other UG courses like BBA and B.Com will be 10+2 passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, and B.Com honors will need a 60% minimum aggregate.
B.Sc. admission in SDPS College will be merit-based. Students should have completed the HSC examination passed in science stream having Physics, Chemistry, and biology as compulsory subjects with English.
B.Arch :
- 10+2 or similar or equivalent from a recognized college or university with a minimum 50% aggregate.
- The candidate should have a valid NATA Test score.

B.Sc (Nursing) :
- Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English as main subjects and 45% as per INC.
B.Com. (Plain) :
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Commerce/Science with a minimum of 45% and above marks.
- Admission is made According to the norms of the University.
B.Com(Hons) :
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Commerce/Science with a minimum of 60% and above marks.
- Admission is made According to the norms of the University.
B.Com. (Computer Application) :
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Commerce/Science with a minimum of 50% and above marks.
- Admission is made According to the norms of the University.
Fashion Design (Bachelors of Design) :
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any other govt. approved board
B.Design in Interior Design :
- The candidate should have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent from any other govt. approved board
- Entrance Test and Personal Interview
Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (A.N.M.) :
The candidate should have passed 10+2 in any stream as per INC.
M.Sc (Nursing) :
- Candidate should have passed B—Sc in Nursing with 55% as per INC.
ACHELORS OF EDUCATION (B.ED.) :
- Graduate in any stream with 50% (for Open) & 45% (for SC/ST/OBC) as per NCTE Norms
- Direct admission on a percentage basis.
