Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences admissions for the MBBS program are done based on NEET or JCECE (state level examination), about 15% of its candidates are selected through NEET. On a general note, RIMS MBBS eligibility criteria requires the candidate to have secured a min. of 50% aggregate in their 10+2 from a recognized board with PCB/ Biotechnology as their majors. RIMS merit admissions requires the candidates to possess a good NEET or JCECE score based on the threshold ranking that is required by the college at that academic year. Also, RIMS direct admissions are done for those who don’t qualify the merit admissions requirement but possess the basic eligibility criteria.
