PHIMSR offers a Master's in Management Studies program. The MMS course is offered at the PG level in the field of Management Studies. PHIMSR offers the MMS program under five different specializations.

PHIMSR MMS eligibility criteria

Candidates should pass the following eligibility criteria to be considered eligible to apply to the MMS program at PHIMSR.

  1. Candidates must have passed a graduation level degree from any university recognized by the UGC or AIU. The graduation should be in any discipline.
  2. The candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
  3. For the candidates belonging to the reserved category, the minimum aggregate marks would be 45%.
  4. The relaxation in aggregate marks will only be offered to candidates who belong to the reserved category and have a domicile of Maharashtra state.
  5. Candidates must have appeared in the entrance exam MAH-MBA/MMS-CET/ CAT/ MAT/CMAT/XAT or ATMA. In addition, the applicants should have scored valid marks in the entrance exam.

PHIMSR MMS selection criteria

  • PHIMSR offers an entrance exam mode of admission for MMS courses.
  • Admission to the MMS program at PHIMSR is offered under the CAP round and at the institutional level.
  • The evaluation of the candidates for admission in the MMS program at PHIMSR will be based on the marks scored in the common entrance exam.

For admission under the Centralized Admission process, candidates are required to,

  • Appear in the common entrance test MAH-MBA/MMS-CET. It is a state-level common entrance test conducted by the DTE, Government of Maharashtra state.
  • Or, the candidates can also appear in the national level entrance test CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT or ATMA.
  • To take admission in the MMS program, candidates should visit the official website of DTE.
  • Candidates can further enroll themselves under the Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP) counseling.
  • Candidates should select PHIMSR in the list of preferred colleges.
  • The DTE will release the merit list based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam.
  • Selected candidates will have to report to their designated center to complete the counseling round.
  • Students will have to report to the institute campus to freeze their seats.

For admission of the candidates under the institutional quota at Pillai Hoc Institute, candidates should follow the following procedure.

  • Candidates must appear in a common entrance test conducted by the component authority.
  • Candidates will have to appear in the next round of personal interviews and essay writing.
  • The evaluation of candidates will be based on the marks scored in the entrance exam, personal interview round, and essay writing.
  • The college administration will grant admission in the seats under the institution level. The admission will be based on the norms and guidelines of the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, and the university.
  • To apply to the MMS program at PHIMSR, candidates must visit the college campus to complete the application process.
  • The college administration will guide the students about the admission criteria.

  3. For Maharashtra state students belonging in the reserved category, the aggregate marks would be 45%.

PHIMSR PGDM selection criteria

  • Candidates seeking admission in the PGDM program at PHIMSR must have appeared in the state-level entrance exam MAH-CET. The admission will be offered under the CAP.
  • To apply for the PGDM program, candidates can visit the website of DTE and enrol themselves under the CAP counselling.
  • Selected candidates will call for the further process of admission at their designated centre.
