Panjab University Distance Learning BA

Panjab University Distance Learning B. ED

For seeking admission to the 2-year B. Ed program at the University, students have to make sure that they obtain more than 50% aggregate marks in their bachelor's or post-graduation degree exams, and that too from an approved university.

In contrast, those with a UG degree in the technological domain must have at least 55% aggregate marks, especially in mathematics. A 5% mark relaxation will be granted to those belonging to the reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC/EWS. So, students must await the results of Panjab University Distance Education.

Panjab University Distance Learning B. LIS

Candidates seeking admission in the B. Lis program must possess a UG degree with at least 50%. Only those who meet this basic eligibility criterion will be considered for admission to a year-long B. Lis program.

Panjab University's Distance Learning MA

As per the university's prospectus, only those students who are allowed to pursue the 2-year MA program from USOL who have cleared their radiation degree exams with more than 50% aggregate marks are under the UGC-recognized university.

However, students with a bachelor's degree from this University can apply even with 45% aggregate marks. Although applicants from all backgrounds can apply, the University will prefer candidates with a valid BA degree, and that too in the discipline they opt for in their master's.

Panjab University's Distance Learning M. COM Admission

To secure a smooth admission in the 2-year long M. Com program at the University's Distance Learning Centre, applicants must have a valid B. Com degree with more than 45% aggregate marks and that from a recognized institution.

Also, it is mandatory to have mathematics and other accountancy-based subjects as compulsory courses at this level. Students with good academic acumen but with another type of UG degree like BA, B. Sc, B. Tech, etc., will also be eligible for admission as deemed fit by the University.

Panjab University Distance MBA Admission 2024

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree from this University or any other university recognized by the Syndicate for admission to the Distance MBA in Panjab University. The degree should have at least 50% aggregate marks.

Language Requirement: For candidates who have obtained a Bachelor's degree from this or any other university through Modern Indian Language (Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi in Gurmukhi Script) and in a Classical Language (Sanskrit/Persian/Arabic) or Degree obtained in the same manner recognized by the Syndicate, the 50% aggregate marks will be intended by considering the full percentage of marks in all language papers, excluding the additional optional paper, English, and the elective subject taken together.

AMIE Qualification: Candidates with an AMIE (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers) examination with 50% marks or more after passing the diploma examination with 60% marks or above and having at least 5 years of research/teaching or professional experience are eligible.

Concession for Reserved Categories: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PwD categories will receive a 5% relaxation in the eligibility requirements, i.e., they must have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks instead of 50%.

Punjab University Distance Education Application Process 2024

  1. First, students must visit the University's official website and open the application form. If the applicant has been registered with the University or earned any degree from the University, they can directly log in with their previous enrollment number.
  2. Afterward, candidates must complete the application form with all the necessary details, including contact number, email ID, address, etc. Also, some documents must be uploaded on the website in a self-attested manner.
  3. After filling out the form, a link will be generated to pay the application fees of Rs. 500 via SBI. Students must pay this non-refundable fee and ensure they obtain the receipt afterward.
  4. Now, submit the form on the website and stay updated on any changes by the university.

To apply for the distance MBA program at Panjab University, you must first pay the MBA Entrance Test
fee of Rs. 2175 (or Rs. 1088 for SC/ST/PwD candidates). This fee is non-refundable. If you are a Class B/C
Regular Employee of Panjab University, you can claim a 50% concession, but you must submit the
necessary documents accordingly. Students must take the Panjab University Distance MBA Entrance
Exam to become eligible for MBA admission. After the test, results will be available online, and a Merit
List will be available based on minimum marks criteria. Candidates who are shortlisted through merit
will be intimated for further selection rounds.
