Dr. Smt. Paladugu Parvathi Devi founded Paladugu Parvathi Devi College of Engineering and Technology (PPDV) in 2008. The college is accredited by the AICTE and is connected with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada. Engineering bachelor's and master's degree programmes are available at the college. The college began with four divisions. ECE, EEE, CSE, and IT are all engineering disciplines. The PPDCET was created to meet the needs of rural youth seeking higher education and high standards in engineering and technical fields, as well as management courses. The institute provides candidates with a candidate-centered academic curriculum and a vibrant learning environment.

• The college also offers full-time B Tech programmes in a range of fields.
• To apply for this four-year programme, you must have a minimum of a 50 percent aggregate in 10+2 with PCM as subjects from a recognised board.
• Applicant must pass the EAMCET state-level admission test in order to apply for B Tech. EAMCET results and state-level counselling will be used to assign seats. Students who meet the PPDV cut-off shall take the B Tech admission to PPDV.

• The institute offers M Tech programmes in two specialties. A valid score in GATE/ PGCET basis M Tech admission to PPDV can be taken.
• Candidates must have acquired a B Tech degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks from an AICTE/ UGC certified institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh (45 percent in case of reserved category).
• Candidates are chosen based on their performance on the PGECET. Selections are also made based on a real GATE rank. The PGECET Convener assigns seats based on A.P. State Government standards.

• Candidates will be considered for admission to the MBA programme at PPDV based on their AP ICET scores, followed by state-level counselling.
• Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree from any discipline degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% in order to apply for MBA (45 percent for reserved category). There are 18 places available in each speciality.
