• Admission to the B.Tech course at NIET is done through the entrance exam mode.
• Shortlisting of the students will be done based on the marks secured in the JEE Main entrance exam.
• B Tech Selection Criteria at NIET will be done through JEE Main, followed by REAP Counselling. The Counselling code of NIET for REAP is 127.
• 85% of the total intake in the B.Tech course is reserved for the candidates applying through the REAP counselling.
• The remaining 15% of the total seats will be reserved for the candidates applying through the management quota at NIET Alwar.
• For the candidates willing to apply for the B.tech course under REAP counselling, the mode of REAP application form filling process is online.
• Applicants must register for REAP counselling based on their JEE Main rank and select "NIET" as their preferred college during the option filling round.
• Later, the competent authority will allot the seats for the candidates based on their preference and JEE main rank.
• The candidates shortlisted for admission will be called to the NIET campus to complete the further admission process.
• To be eligible for securing admission seats via REAP Counselling, candidates have to score equivalent to the NIET Alwar B Tech Cut off standards.

NIET MBA eligibility criteria

• To enrol in an MBA PG degree at NIET, the candidates should have passed the Graduation level program in any discipline.
• The course must be held by any university recognized by the AICTE, UGC, or AIU.
• The applicants have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.

• NIET Alwar MBA Admission is granted based on the entrance test score followed by RMAP Counselling.
• NIET accepts the valid score of CMAT, CAT or MAT. Aspirants must clear the entrance test as per the NIET MBA Cut off eligibility.
• For each entrance test, the cut off differs. After the commencement of the NIET admission process, the authority will release the cut off list on their official website.
• NIET offers admission in the MBA course through the RMAP counselling and also via the management quota.
• 85% of the total seats available for the MBA program will be allocated to the candidates applying through the RMAP counselling round.

In addition to the B Tech, NIET offers admission to the BBA course at the UG level. The intake capacity for the BBA course is 60. To be considered eligible to apply in the BBA degree program at NIET, the applicants must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.

• The applicants must have passed 10th+2 or any similar HSC level board examination.
• The applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
• Admission to the BBA in NIET depends on academic merit in 10+2.

A full-time on-campus diploma course is offered at NIET. It is available in two engineering streams. The total intake of the candidates in the Diploma course at NIET is 120.

NIET eligibility/selection criteria

• Applicants must have passed the 10th or SSC level board exam to apply for Diploma admission in NIET.
• Candidates must score at least 50% marks as minimum qualifying score in 10^th/SSC.
• Diploma Selection Criteria at NIET depends on 10^th merit followed by BTER Counselling. 

• 85% of the total seats will be sanctioned for the applicants applying through the BTER Counselling.
