LBSIM Delhi is a management institute that was established in 1995. It is one of the top business schools in the country. The Institute's main goal is to develop students' leadership skills by teaching them innovative research-based techniques. In addition, training in the management field will be given to the students. LBSIM Courses include PGDM general, PGDM research and business analytics, PGDM financial management, Executive PGDM, FPM, and PGDM part-time weekend classes. All the courses are approved and recognized by AICTE, NBA, and AIU.

Course admission is based on entrance test scores. Therefore, it accepts valid CAT, XAT, GMAT, or equivalent exam scores. The students who are shortlisted in the entrance exam will be eligible to proceed with other selection procedures held by the Institute. First, however, the Candidate needs to reach the LBSIM cutoff. Otherwise, they will not get admission.

LBSIM Delhi PGDM Admission

The Institute offers different PGDM courses. It is a full-time postgraduate diploma course of 2-year duration in management. In terms of placement, it holds a 100% placement rate. As an outcome, LBSIM Delhi NIRF Ranking in 2022 is 76 among the Top 100 Management Colleges in India. A student has to undergo a rigorous selection process by taking entrance exams like CAT, XAT, and GMAT conducted by the Institute. After clearing entrance exams, shortlisted students had to undergo a personal interview or group discussion round.

LBSIM Delhi PGDM Eligibility

The minimum eligibility criteria to enrol in the course are:

  • Graduation degree with 50% aggregate marks.
  • The students must appear in either of the entrance exams named Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
  • Apart from the common entrance exams, the Candidate needs to register on LBSIM Delhi's official website through a separate application form available on the website.
  • After shortlisting, the admission process will lead to a personal interview (PI) and group discussion (GD) round.

LBSIM Delhi PGDM Selection Criteria                                   

The selection criteria of the College:

  • The entrance exam score is the prior basis of selection criteria in a PGDM course.
  • Apart from entrance tests, academic performance, work experience, and other curricular information can also be considered as the basis of selection criteria.
  • Students who take clear written tests, personal interviews, and group discussion rounds will be admitted to the PGDM course.
  • The final selection weightage of the entrance exam is 60%, and group discussion/Personal Interview is 40%.
  • After the results are posted on the Institute's notice board, the list of selected candidates will be posted.

LBSIM Delhi FPM Admission

FPM is a Fellow Program in Management course, a doctorate-level program that mainly focuses on the research and scholarship areas of management education.

LBSIM Delhi FPM Eligibility Criteria

To get admission, a student needs to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

  • Master's degree in Management/Economics/Social Science/Physical Science/ Commerce/Humanities or any other related field.
  • The grades in the Master's degree should be first class.
  • Students appearing for their final examination can also apply for the course.

LBSIM Delhi FPM Selection Process

A candidate should have a valid score in the CAT/GMAT/UGC-NET entrance exam, as it is the basic eligibility criteria. However, if the student does not have a valid score on any of the tests, then they should qualify for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) conducted by the Institute.

The fellowship program selection criteria will be based on the following:

What is the Application Process for an FPM Course?

The application form will be available for the candidates, along with which a student needs to submit copies of all the necessary certificates and testimonials. The Candidate needs to submit everything with a form before the LBSIM application's last date.

LBSIM Delhi PGDM Business Administration Admission (Weekend Classes)

The Institute offers a postgraduate diploma weekend program in business administration (BA). This program is for working professionals who only have a little time to attend classes. This program is considered and recognized as an LBSIM Part-time MBA. After Graduation, a candidate with 2 years of Experience can apply for this course.

  • Bachelor's degree holder of 3 years in any discipline from India or abroad.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in corporate organizations.
  • Group discussion and personal interview rounds are the basis for selection.

LBSIM Delhi Executive PGDM Admission

LBSIM executive MBA equivalent PGDM are weekend courses mainly designed for working professionals of corporate organizations. At least two years of working experience is required. The Executive program of PGDM is a 15-month course that is AICTE-approved. It is a full-time program.

  • Bachelor's degree of at least 3 years duration.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Graduation.
  • 5 years' Experience as a working professional.
  • Valid entrance exam score (CAT/GMAT).

  • The students can apply for admission through online and offline modes.
  • LBSIM Offline Application
  • Candidates must visit the Institute and purchase the LBSIM application form by depositing the fee of INR. 1250 through cash or demand draft (DD).

OR

  • Candidates need to download the application form from the website and pay the fee of INR 12500.
  • DD will favour Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi, Payable at New Delhi.
  • After filling out the form, attach all the documents with the form.
  • If you visit the Institute, submit the form within working hours with INR. 1325 DD.

LBSIM Online Application

  • Complete the registration process on the website.
