KJ Somaiya Medical college offers MBBS courses for five academic years and 1-year compulsory internships. The MBBS degree is provided to the students as per the Medical Council of India guidelines. The students seeking admission to the MBBS course at KJSMC Mumbai will have to pass 10+2 in the science stream and clear the NEET entrance exam. The MBBS seats are divided into Management quota, Government quota and NRI quota students based on merit. Out of 50 seats, 42 seats are reserved under Government Quota. And remaining 8 seats are reserved for NRI & Management quota admission in K J Somaiya Medical College.
