JNCTS B.Tech eligibility criteria

To be considered eligible to apply, JNCTS laid down eligibility criteria for the candidates. The applicants must pass the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for the B.tech course at JNCTS.

• The applying candidates should have passed their intermediate level or any 10+2 equivalent examination.
• The examination should have been conducted by any component senior secondary education.
• At the intermediate level, the compulsory subjects should be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• The applicants must have achieved a minimum of 45% marks in all the subjects added together.
• The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/ and OBC categories should have scored a minimum of 40% marks.
• For the B.Tech (lateral) admission at JNCTS Bhopal, candidates must have completed their Diploma in Engineering course and have secured 45% marks in aggregation.
• The candidates who have completed their B.sc degree course with mathematics and had scored at least 60% marks will also be considered eligible for the B.Tech lateral entry at JNCT.

JNCTS B.Tech selection criteria

• Admission to the B Tech at JNCTS Bhopal will be granted based on the student’s performance in entrance test as well academic merit.
• Candidates looking forward to taking admission in the B.tech should appear in the entrance exam JEE-Mains.
• The final B Tech Selection Criteria at Jai Narain College depends on JEE Rank followed by DTE, MP Counselling.
• Candidates willing to secure admission seat in JNCTS, have to undergo online counselling which DTE, MP government administrates it.
• Fill the DTE Online counselling registeration form by logging into the respective website of DTE MP. While, updating the documents JEE Main score is mandatory.
• DTE MP online counselling concludes certain steps which needs to be followed: Online registeration, displaying the merit list, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting at allotted institute.
• During option filling round, candidates required to select JNCTS as their college preference. Following the result of preferences and JEE Main rank, seat allotment takes place.
• The final round of admission will take place at the JNCTS Campus

JNCTS MBA Eligibility/Selection Criteria

• For admission to the MBA at Jai Narain College, candidates must have cleared CMAT Entrance Test with a good score.
• Additionally, students must have completed UG degree in any stream. The degree must be recognized by any university permitted by the UGC, AIU, or AICTE.

• The candidates must score at least 50% marks at the UG level. In the case the candidates falls under reserved category, the aggregate marks should be 45%.
• MBA Admission in JNCTS Bhopal will be given based on CMAT merit followed by Counselling. The mode of counselling will be online and it is regulated by DTE, MP Government.
• Candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions have to visit DTE official website to register themselves based on CMAT results.
• Once the registeration process concludes, DTE will publish the merit list of the shortlisted candidates. Such students will be allowed to take part in counselling.
