Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2023

International Institute of Mass Media is one of the leading educational institutes in India. It is popularly known as IIMM Delhi. In 2019, it received an award for Best Education Institute in Mass Communication. The college is functioning under a registered society. The campus is located in Delhi, NCR. IIMM offers UG, PG, and Diploma programs in mass media disciplines. Admission to these programs is made through an entrance exam conducted by IIMM Delhi. Admission seekers have to meet the eligibility norms decided by the college.

  • IIMM Delhi offers the BJMC program at the Undergraduate level. The course duration is three years. The annual intake for BJMC is 80.
  • The BJMC course eligibility norms are, aspirants must have passed in 12th from any recognized board. There are no specific qualifying marks required.
  • IIMM offers a PG degree MJMC course for two years. The annual intake for MJMC is 35.
  • Candidates who have qualified in UG Degree BJMC can apply for MJMC admission at IIMM. However, the final selection is made through the entrance exam score.
  • Admission to the BJMC and MJMC will be offered based on the performance in the entrance exam. Thus admission seekers must take up entrance exam and be required to clear it with a minimum qualifying mark.
  • The admission authority will consider the entrance exam score to prepare the final merit list. Aspirants whose names are enlisted in the merit list have to clear Group discussion & Personal Interview rounds.
  • IIMM Delhi offers direct admissions to the MJMC & BJMC courses. 10 seats are reserved for Management Quota.
  • IIMM offers one year of full-time PG Diploma in Public Relations & Marketing. Candidates willing to apply for PG Diploma must have done graduation in any discipline.
  • PG Diploma selection process is similar to the UG & PG Programs. Candidates have to sit for an entrance exam and must participate in GD & PI rounds.
  • Candidates who are pursuing their final year in bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply for PG courses at IIMM Delhi.
  • The application forms of IIMM Delhi can be filled in two modes online as well as offline. Applicants have to visit the IIMM's official to apply online. They are required to fill in all the details and submit them by paying stipulated application fees. Applicants need to upload the scanned images of the document in a prescribed format.
  • For an offline process, applicants have to download the form through the website. A duly-filled application form must be submitted through the post. IIMM Delhi application fees will be around 1000

IIMM offers a BJMC course. 10+2 in any subject is the minimum eligibility criteria. Admission for BJMC at IIMM depends on the Merit in the qualifying exam. Followed by entrance score, GD and PI admissions are provided. Applicants shall apply to the Institute's admission office or on the official website.

Entrance exam application form will be available from July and the exam takes place in the same month, candidates qualified in the exam will be eligible to seek International Institute of Mass Media Delhi BJMC admissions

At bachelor level there is BJMC- Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication for which the admission on the basis of entrance test, personal interview and group discussion.

Eligibility of the candidates is to have passed examination of 12th from a recognized board.

For direct admission, there 10 seats reserved as per the norms.

The Admission Procedure for the courses in Media Films/Mass Communication in International Institute of Mass Media Delhi is:

For the PGD courses:

  • The aspirants must have a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university
  • And the aspirants who are appearing in final year examination may also apply.

For the B.M.C course:

  • The aspirants need to do the Sr. Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Intermediate or its equivalent of a recognized board.

And the Main Admission Process where the aspirants need to pass the following rounds like:

  • Written Examination
  • Group Discussion
  • Personal Interview
