Institute of Dental Education & Advance Studies, (IDEAS), Gwalior is a private dental college in Gwalior. It has been in operation since 2006. It comes under the Madhya Pradesh Lok Vikas Nyas board. Institute of Dental Education & Advanced Studies is affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University and is recognized by the Dental Council of India.
There is a teaching hospital, laboratories, preclinical and clinical departments, a central library, research facilities, and hostels on the campus, which help the students get a quality dental education and lots of hands-on clinical experiences. The academic programs offered include BDS, Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and MBDS in some specialties. A candidate who is eligible for admission to the BDS programme must have secured passing marks by appearing in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) i.e., NEET UG 2026, whereas admission to MBBS/MBBS/ BDS programmes is based on NEET UG 2026. The college admission to the BDS program is based on the result of NEET, UG 2026, the counselling process is being carried out by Madhya Pradesh NEET counselling.
In order to participate, a student has to be eligible for NEET and participate in the counseling process. The time period for BDS is five years plus, one year of compulsory rotatory internship.

I have done BDS from this college, for admission into BDS courses the eligibility criteria is such that, the candidate must have passed 10+5.08 cm physics, chemistry, biology and English subjects individually from a recognised board and must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks, 45% in case of SC/ST and for OBC category students. Selection for admission is made on the basis of score in National eligibility cum entrance test (NEET), which is all India level entrance exam. Candidates are expected to secure valid score as per the cut off marks. Fees structure for courses is feasible as compare to other colleges.
Institute of Dental Education & Advance Studies offers BDS course admission into which is made through entrance examination. Aspirants seeking to take admission into UG (BDS) course must appear for NEET entrance examination and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks. NEET exam is conducted online mostly in the month of May. Candidates can fill the online application form in 1st week of February, application fee for general & OBC category is INR 1,500 and that for SC/ST category is 800. For admission minimum eligibility mandatory is that student must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry and biology as the compulsory subject from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
