The Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF) is an affiliate institution of the University of London and one of the 5 Featured Teaching Centres of the London School of Economics (LSE). It was founded in 2006 to deliver a world-class, quality education in India. ISBF Delhi offers undergraduate (BSc Hons) degree programs and Graduate Diplomas in collaboration with the University of London, LSE. The programs are designed, examined, and assessed by LSE.

 

Since 2011, ISBF (Indian School of Business and Finance) has established a valuable affiliation with the Mountbatten Institute, offering students a unique opportunity to engage in one-year international work placements in London and New York. This prestigious program provides students invaluable exposure to highly demanding work settings and an international corporate culture. During this one-year work placement, students can collaborate with renowned investment banks such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, UBS, and Barclays. ISBF Delhi B.Sc Admission

The University provides a three-year B.Sc program in the following specializations:

  • B.Sc Economics
  • B.Sc Accounting and Finance
  • B.Sc Hons Economics and Management
  • B.Sc Hons Business and Management

 

ISBF Delhi B.Sc Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this course, the candidates must have passed Class XII or be about to do it the following year. The candidates can be from any stream to be eligible for this course. However, the subject-wise eligibility criterion is mentioned below:

  • Candidates applying for BSc (Hons) Economics or BSc (Hons) Economics & Finance must have Maths as one of the subjects in the 10+2/HSC level.
  • Candidates for BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance, BSc (Hons) Economics & Management, or BSc (Hons) Business & Management must have Mathematics as one of their subjects in Class X.

 

ISBF Delhi B.Sc Selection Criteria

The selection process for ISBF BSc involves three steps:

 

Step 1: Complete the ISBF Online Application Form

  • Prepare a Latest Resume.
  • Submit the required Documents.
  • Craft a Statement of Purpose, highlighting academic and other strengths, including co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements.

 

Step 2: ISBF Entrance Exam (iMET): The ISBF Entrance Test, known as iMET, is conducted online.

It assesses a candidate's ability to:

  • Reason logically
  • Extract meaningful information from various sources.
  • Apply concepts learned in Mathematics up to Class X.

Note: Candidates with a composite SAT score of 1350 or more (within the 5-year validity period) and those with at least 90 percentile in CUET are exempt from iMET.

 

Step 3: Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a Personal Interview. During the interview, candidates are evaluated on various factors, including:

  • Motivation to study at ISBF.

 

ISBF Delhi Graduate Diploma Admission

The University offers a graduate diploma course. It is a postgraduate course of 1 year.

Graduate Diploma Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have graduated are eligible to apply for this course. Candidates in the final year of their full-time UG degree program are also eligible to apply for the Graduate Diploma programs. The candidates applying to the Graduate Diploma Programme in the specialization of Economics must have had Mathematics as a subject up to Class 12.

 

Graduate Diploma Selection Criteria

The eligible candidates need to appear in the ISBF Graduate Diploma Entrance Exam. The candidates then need to sit for the Personal Interview too. The merit list shall be equipped based on the applicants' performance in the Entrance Exam and the personnel around them. The candidates' graduation and Class XII scores shall also be considered during the merit list preparation.

 

About the Graduate Diploma Entrance Exam

The ISBF Graduate Diploma Entrance Test (iGDET) is an online entrance exam conducted by the Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF) for admission to its Graduate Diploma programs. The exam tests a candidate's ability to reason logically and apply concepts and techniques learned in Mathematics and English.

 

The iGDET is a 120-minute exam with a total of 100 questions. The questions are MCQ with four answer choices. The exam is scored on a scale of 100-200, with a score of 150 being the minimum required for admission. The iGDET consists of two sections: Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability.

 

 

ISBF Delhi Scholarships

The University provides two types of scholarships. One type is the scholarship that is offered before admission, and the other type is the scholarship that is offered after admission.
