The Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM), with its headquarters in New Delhi, was established in 1973. The IIPM has a total of 18 branches in India. Because it is an autonomous institution, the AIU, UGC, and AICTE do not accredit it. IIPM invites professors from prestigious business schools around the world to give lectures to the students. The institute previously offered undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in national economic planning and entrepreneurship and international and fellowship programs. Non-credit classes and visits to overseas business schools are part of the executive education programs. The UGC and the AICTE have accredited Indian Institute of Planning and Management, and it is affiliated with the public Indian Institutes of Management. IIPM is a non-profit organization that is academically independent, self-funded, and autonomous. The institute is well-known for creating one-of-a-kind certificate programs in planning and entrepreneurship. The placements that IIPM accredited students receive, the type of research it conducts, and its best-selling books that people adore are all examples of IIPM's enormous market recognition.

Since 2015, IIPM has not allowed any of its programs. IIPM is only interested in a few research projects. Planman Consulting has the authority to deliver a program developed by IIPM faculty members. The IIPM, on the other hand, endorses Planman's program. As a result, Planman currently owns all of the rights to use the IIPM trademark and name in connection with its various initiatives. No other organization/institutions have been granted these rights by IIPM. Students may apply for admission to the IIPM in New Delhi. Students interested in enrolling in the courses can go to the college's official website for more information. Students can enroll in the courses by filling out an online application. IIPM has a good infrastructure for students to ensure that they achieve good academic results. Several clubs exist at the college to encourage students to participate in cultural activities. Besides, the college hosts various events throughout the year to have a good time while at the college and make memories with them after they graduate.

  • There are numerous highlights of this college, each of which is unique and self-contained. The college has its own set of rules and regulations and programs and policies that the college planning has slated. As a result, Planman has complete authority to design a program based on the faculty members' suggestions.
  • Aspirants to be eligible for MBA/PGD must have completed their 10+2 education and a UG degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates for university admission should be at least 17 years old. Admission to MBA or PGD at the Indian Institute of Planning and Management would be based on the merit list generated from the PAT exam results. The PAT is a written test that assesses personality.
  • Unlike the PAT, the CAT at IIPM is based more on EQ (Emotional Quotient) and overall personality mapping. It has been widely observed that when it comes to management, entrepreneurship, and dealing with people, high IQ.
  • According to experience, about 70% of students who enroll in IIPM programs each year choose placements. The rest go on to work for themselves, start their businesses, or pursue further education. Almost all of the 70% of students who choose to participate in placements each year are placed before they graduate. The maximum interview requirements for any student in an IIPM program are not set.
