Government College of Engineering Satara (GCES) was started in 1960 and is located in Satara, Maharashtra. The College is approved under AICTE, Accredited NBA, and affiliated with Shivaji University. The College was founded to impart appropriate value-based technical education for the rural candidates and tribal areas of Maharashtra. The GCEK offers UG Course BE/B Tech and PG Course ME/M Tech & MCA and a doctoral program in Ph.D. Course.

  • Seats will be allocated according to the candidate's acquired scores in JEE Main & GATE Entrance Exam. In addition, candidates must be eligible with a 10+2 Exam to take admission for BE/B Tech, and Candidates must have a bachelor's degree to get admission for PG Courses.

GCES BE/B Tech Admission Process

Government College of Engineering, Satara offers UG Course BE/B Tech in 5 specializations for 4 years. Candidates must be qualified in Bachelor's Degree BE/B Tech with 60% aggregate marks and must obtain a valid score in the GATE entrance exam organized under IITs. Reservations will be made according to the rules & regulations of the Indian Government, and DTE will allocate Seats through, Centralized allotment procedure.

Application Process for JEE/GATE Entrance Exam: Notification will be declared by IIT that the application form will be released. Candidates must visit the official sites, fill up the required details, attach relevant educational copies with scanned photos, and submit them. Application fees must be paid through net banking. Application fees are INR 700 for general categories and INR 500 for reserved categories.
