DIET B Tech Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission in the BE programs at DIET must pass the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for admission in DIET are mentioned below.
For Maharashtra state students
- Candidates must have a domicile of Maharashtra.
- The applicants should have passed the 10+2 or HSC level examination from the Maharashtra board of education or any equivalent council. The institute must be based out of Maharashtra state.
- The compulsory subjects should be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Candidates should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in aggregation.
- 40% aggregate marks for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
- The applicants should have scored non-zero marks in the entrance exam MHT-CET.
For students belonging from the other states
- Candidates must hold Indian nationality.
- The applicants have passed 10+2 or equivalent exams from any recognized board of education.
- PCM as mandatory subjects. A minimum of 45% marks in aggregation
- Candidates should have appeared in the national level exam JEE-Mains.
- The applicants must have achieved a non-zero score in the entrance exam.
DIET B Tech Selection Criteria
- To take B Tech admission in DIET, candidates should appear in the entrance test MHT-CET. It is a common entrance exam conducted at the state level.
- JEE Main qualifiers are also eligible to apply. DIET will grant admission according to the norms & regulations prescribed by DTE, Maharashtra.
- Candidates' selection will be based on their entrance exam performance.
- 80% of intake in each branch fill be filled through CAP Counselling (Centralized admission procedure)
- For CAP admission in DIET, candidates must follow the norms, which is available on the DTE, Maharashtra official website.
- 20% of intake is fixed for Institute level quota in DIET. For ILQ admission, students are required to contact the college authority.
- To apply to the BE program at DIET, candidates have to visit the official campus of the institute.
- The admission form will be available in the admission departments.
- Candidates should fill-up the form and submit it by paying the application fees.
- Selected candidates will have to report to the college campus for the counselling round.
