Ghousia Polytechnic for Women is popularly known as GPW, primarily established for women in 1962 in Bangalore, Karnataka. Application form is provided online basis where the students who chose to purse diploma programme can fill the form in the website and enclose with all required and mandatory documents. The admission criterion for diploma course in this institute is purely based on merit followed by personal interview process. Candidates having excellent score in their tenth class can easily get into the diploma course which is offered in Ghousia Polytechnic for Women. Diploma course duration is three years and various streams are offered under diploma course where the eligibility required in Xth passed in related stream. VTU norms are followed at the admission procedure.

This is a polytechnic college where a diploma after 10th or 12th class is available. There is no B.Tech program available.

Candidates interested in applying for a diploma need to have passed class 10th with a minimum 50% aggregate. Based on merit in the class, 10th obtained marks admission for the diploma at GPW is offered.

B.Com course is offered to the qualifying students. Candidates applying for the course must have passed the 10+2 board examination with 50% marks. Admission for B.Com at RC College depends on qualifying examination merit. In the official website, candidates can apply for the course.

Students who have obtained 50% and above marks in class 10th and 45% marks for SC/ ST students are eligible for a diploma. Through merit in the previous academics, Diploma admission at GPW is offered.
