G.H. Patel Patel College of Engineering and Technology, also known as GCET, was started in 1946 located in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat. GCET was firstly affiliated with Sardar Patel University, and in 2008, it got affiliated with GTU (Gujarat Technical University). Institute offers Under Graduate courses in BE/B Tech and Graduate courses in ME/M Tech.

  • Admissions for BE/B Tech will be made according to the candidate's rank achieved in JEE Main Entrance Exam, and for ME/M Tech, admissions will be based on the GATE/PGCET Entrance Exam Valid Score. GTU will organize PGCET Exam.
  • 75 % Seats will be allocated for the candidates taking admission through Entrance Based and 10% seats for management quota, and 15% for NRI Candidates.

GCET ME/M Tech Admission Process

G.H. Patel Patel College of Engineering and Technology offers PG Course ME/M Tech in 7 Specializations, and the duration of the course is two years. Candidates who aspired to take admission in ME/M Tech should qualify for a bachelor’s degree  BE/B Tech with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and must secure a valid rank in GATE or Candidates up the admission through PGCET Score and exams will be organized by GTU. Candidates from SC/SEBC & ST Category can acquire 45% aggregate marks in BE/B Tech.
