GIST offers its students a B.Tech course at the Undergraduate level with five different types of specializations.

• B.Tech course at GIST requires the aspirants to have a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 qualification.
• Aspirants must appear for the AP-EAMCET exam as the seats are allocated based on the rank secured in the exam.
• It is necessary to score a valid AP EAMCET as corresponding to the cut-off score distinct by the college authority.

GIST provides a postgraduate course of M.Tech in 4 different types of specializations.

• For admission to the M. Tech programs at GIST, the aspirant must have a bachelor's degree in engineering (B. Tech / BE) or in the relevant or allied discipline.
• Aspirants are further required to apply at GIST with a valid GATE or PGECET score based on which selection is done.

GIST offers admission to the  MBA program at the postgraduate level.

• Admission to the MBA program at GIST is offered through AP ICET score followed by the performance in GD or PI.
• Preference for the GIST MBA program shall be given to other National/ State entrance qualified aspirants such as CAT, MAT, or XAT.

Diploma at GIST is available in three disciplines with an annual intake of 60 seats. Candidates who have cleared AP POLYCET with a valid rank can apply for GIST. In addition, students shall have passed 10^th with minimum passing parks.
