• Candidates willing to take admission in the B.Tech course at CSPIT have to undergo state-level entrance exam GUJCET.
• Students must pass a 10+2 exam from any recognized board of education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
• In addition, students have to score a minimum of 45% as their minimum score in the 10+2 level. The selection of the students will be based on academic merit as well as entrance exam score.

CSPIT offers MTech courses under seven different specializations, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Computer Engineering. The duration of the course is two years and four semesters.

• Students seeking admission in MTech courses at CSPIT must undergo state-level entrance exam GPGCET or national level entrance exam GATE.
• In addition, candidates must have a BE or B.Tech degree from any recognized university in a relevant field.
• Admission of candidates in the MTech course at CSPIT would be carried out by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)

CSPIT provides PhD courses under four different specializations, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The duration of the course is of minimum three years.

• Candidates aspiring to take admission in the PhD course at CSPIT must undertake an entrance exam conducted by the institute, Charusat Doctoral Entrance Test ( CDET), followed by a personal interview.
• Candidates undertaking national level entrance exams, NET, JRF, CSIR-UGC/SLET, or equivalent, need not take CDET.
• However, aspiring candidates must have an ME or MTech degree from any recognized board of education in relevant fields and 55% marks in aggregation.
• The final selection would be based on the entrance exam score and personal interview.
