Apeejay School of Management is a private college established in 1993. The college has been ranked among the top 20 B-schools in India. The placement record of the college is 95% accurate, with 145+ companies visiting the campus to recruit students. ASM Dwarka offers a PGDM program, which is approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA. Besides, the PGDM program has been accredited and recognized as an MBA equivalent by AIU and ACBSP-USA.

Apeejay College Delhi collaborates with international universities such as Thomas Jefferson University, E M Normandie France, Uniglobe College, University of Toledo, and Marist College USA. Through collaborations, there is a provision for faculty exchange, student exchange, joint student research projects, International conferences, and Management Development Programs.

The Apeejay School of Management Course admission process is usually held from January to April yearly. The candidates can apply for admission after clearing entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, and ATMA. After clearing the entrance exam, the shortlisted candidates must undergo the final selection round: a group discussion (GD) and a personal interview (PI). The candidates were also shortlisted on a merit basis as per their academic performance in graduation.

PGDM is a full-time course at the postgraduate level for 2 years. AIU awarded the PGDM program an MBA equivalent Status. Apeejay School of Management MBA equivalent PGDM course is carried through a trimester system with six terms spread over two years. ASM is directed by its mission of forming globally modest and ethically sound business leaders.

Apeejay School of Management Syllabus of PGDM entails core & elective courses. It covers general management subjects  which are common to all functional areas and offers specializations such as :

Eligibility Criteria for PGDM Course

  • Apeejay College PGDM admission is based on the entrance exams. The candidate must be a bachelor’s degree holder in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks. The college should be from a recognized university in India or abroad.
  • Students in their last year of UG degree are also eligible to apply (provided their aggregate marks up to the final year must be 50%), subject to meeting admission criteria and submitting the eligibility proof latest by October.

Selection Process for PGDM

  • The selection of the candidate is based on the entrance exam score CAT/XAT /MAT/CMAT/ ATMA. The entrance exam scorecard is essential for shortlisting candidates with good marks.
  • The final selection of the candidate is based on the group discussion and personal interview round. Candidates with suitable work experience and postgraduate degrees will be preferred for admission.
  • GD and Personal Interviews will be held at Apeejay College Delhi Campus and possibly other cities in India such as Punjab, UP, etc.
  • Candidates in the category of  Indian-origin people (PIO)/ Foreign Nationals/ Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries, who cannot take the aptitude mentioned above test, can apply based on GMAT.

What are the selection parameters on which admission is based at ASM?

There are some parameters on which admission to Apeejay College is based:

  • Previous academic performance - During the admission, the performance of the 10th, 12th, and undergraduate levels is considered.
  • Joint entrance exam - Some standard entrance tests need to be clear to get admission to the college for a particular course with a valid score.
  • Written ability test - This test is conducted by the college 15 minutes before the group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) round. The candidate will be given a specific topic to check their writing skills, articulation, ability, and knowledge.
  • Group Discussion - A round of group discussion happens after the written ability test for about 20-25 minutes. A group is made where they have to participate, interact, or discuss a topic. The evaluation of the candidate is based on logical content, innovative answers, group behaviour, initiative, communication skills, etc.
  • Personal Interview - PI is an in-person one-on-one interview. The panel of interviews includes faculty and industry professionals. The duration of the PI is about 10-15 minutes. The evaluation of the candidate is based on personality, communication skills, functional knowledge, general awareness, orientation management, etc.

Note: In case candidates belonging to the category of PIO/FN/Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries, the interview and written ability test will be held online.
