ACPCE B Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • For admission to the B Tech at Annasaheb Chudaman Patil College, candidates shall have passed  10+2 or equivalent diploma with Physics, Mathematics, and any of Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology subjects with a minimum of 50% marks is required.
  • Candidates are chosen based on their performance in the DTE's MHT-CET or CBSE's JEE Main. Through the Centralized Admission Process, such individuals will be assigned seats (CAP).
  • Other state candidates, including J&K, will be assigned seats solely based on their JEE Main scores. The Institute or Management Quota fills 20% of the seats in the intake, while the CAP fills the remaining 65%.
  • Candidates from Maharashtra are required to take the MHT-CET admission exam.
  • Candidates from the SC/ST category receive a 5% reduction in the qualifying exam. At the national level, 15% of seats are filled.
  • Only applicants who have passed the Maharashtra HSC and SSC exams will be considered for State-level seats.

Annasaheb Chudaman Patil College PG Admission: 

At the postgraduate level, the college provides ME, MMS, and MMS programs.

  • Applicants for the ME program must have a BE/ B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50%.
  • Any Bachelor's degree (a three-year program) with at least 50% marks is required for admission to MMS and MCA programs. Furthermore, candidates for MCA must have studied Mathematics as one of the topics at the 10+2 level or the graduate level.
  • Candidates for the ME program must have a valid GATE score to be considered. In addition, to be eligible for admission to the MCA program, candidates must have received a satisfactory score on the MAH-MCA-CET.
  • A valid CAT/ XAT or CMAT score is required for admission to the MMS program. Final admission is based on the Maharashtra Department of Technical Education's (DTE) Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
  • 20% of the total seats in the ME course are filled at the institute level (15% for Non-Sponsored Seats and 5% for Sponsored Seats), while the remaining 80% are distributed through CAP.
  • Only candidates with a Maharashtra state graduate degree will be considered for state-level seats.
  • Candidates from Mumbai University's jurisdiction are eligible for 45.5 percent of MCA seats (out of 65 percent State-level seats to be filled by CAP).
  • 15% of seats are filled at the national level, while 20% of the overall intake is filled through the Management Quota.

ACPCE Application Process

Candidates must follow the steps below to complete the MHT-CET application form:

  • On the DTE website, fill out the online application form.
  • Scanned copies of required documents should be uploaded.
  • Only online payment of INR 800 (INR 600 for SC/ST/PWD candidates) is accepted.
  • For verification purposes, take a printout of the form.

ME, MS, and MCA Programs:

Applicants for PG courses must complete the following steps:

  • DTE Maharashtra's website can be found here.
  • Obtain a Login ID by completing an application form.
  • Fill out the Centralized Admission Process online application form (CAP).
  • Pay the INR 1,000 application fee (General Category applicants and candidates from outside Maharashtra State candidates) online (through credit card, debit card, or net banking). For Reserved categories, the application cost is INR 800.
