National Institute of Social Work and Social Sciences Fees Structure

The National Institute of Social Work and Social Science is an institute for higher education which is also shortly or commonly called NISWASS. This institute at present has four departments, namely Social Work, Rural Management, and Social Communication. The only department on the principle of Gandhian is a department of Buddhist Studies in Odisha. NISWASS, Bhubaneswar is an autonomous institute and the year of the establishment was in 1971. Since then, this institute has envisioned empowering mainly the student's power of those who belonged to Scheduled caste and tribe. NISWASS, Bhubaneswar, offers one undergraduate course and three post-graduate programs. Besides, This institute also offers PG Diploma courses of 1-year duration.

• The undergraduate program offered by NISWASS is a B.S.W Bachelor of Social Work which is two years full-time program, and the 3 PG programs are MSW – Master of Social Work, Master of Journalism & Mass Communication, and M.A, which are also two years full-time programs. The PG Diploma courses are offered in 2 specializations, namely Gender Studies and Rural Management.
• National Institute of Social Work and Social Science-NISWASS fee structure for the UG course BSW will be Rs. 54,800 totally as the entire course fee whereas for a year the price will be Rs. 18,266 per annum.
• The fee structure in the NISWASS for the MSW will be Rs. 38,800 completely to finish the entire course, and the annual fee will be around Rs. 19,400 per annum. National Institute of Social Work and Social Science-NISWASS fee structure is very affordable as this is a public university.
• The NISWASS Bhubaneswar fee structure of the MJMC course would be Rs. 39,000 as total expenditure, and the annual fee is around Rs. 27,900. The fee structure of the courses would be subjected to change regularly, and any changes students will get a notification.

NISWASS exclusively offers accommodation facilities to women who are from faraway places. The hostel admission will be given to the deserving students, most importantly. There is also college hostel welfare which ensures to maintain the hostel and to keep it clean. The hostellers also participate in games, sports, cultural activities, debates, seminars, etc. Students must pay the national Institute of Social Work and Social Science- NISWASS hostel fee annually at the time of allocation. The incumbent will be upon students to take up the mess facility.
