XLRI Online MBA Courses (PGDM)

PGDBM (Business Management)

The two-year postgraduate diploma in Business Management is a PG-level program. This program has an integrated approach to management function and related skills. PGDBM provides an opportunity to concentrate on one or two functional areas such as Economics, Finance, Operations & Decision Sciences and Strategic Management, Information Systems, Marketing, and Production. Participants can also choose any offered electives that suit individual requirements without an area of concentration.

PGDHRM (Human Resource Management)

The program outcome is aimed at participants learning and applying concepts, techniques, and practices in human resource management. However, HRM is a specialized program, and no separate area of concentration is required. 

PGDF (Finance)

The PGDF at XLRI is a master’s program for two years, delivered online. This specialization curriculum is aptly designed after consulting the extensive finance industry that covers all the financial knowledge. Xavier Online MBA Curriculum (PGDF) covers accounting and corporate finance, asset markets and banking, investment techniques and wealth management. Participants will also gain deeper insights into emerging financial developments such as fintech and digital finance, data science and machine learning tools that apply to finance.

The programs include three one-week campus immersion modules beginning the semester, i.e. in terms 1, 3 and 4. The weeklong campus immersion program is organized to offer learning opportunities to visiting institutions.

XLRI Online MBA eligibility criteria

• Students must have completed their bachelor’s degree with an average score of 50% from a recognized University certified by the Ministry of Education, GOI.
• Candidates can apply for the Online PGDM program in their final graduation year.
• Candidates with relevant work experience of a minimum of 3 years shall be given preference.
• Students who do not have prior work experience should at least have a Student offer confirmation from an organization because they are expected to work during their studies.

XLRI Online MBA/ PGDM selection criteria

The selection process for the Online PGDM program in XLRI is merely based on academic merit scores in the qualifying examination. Based on this, the candidates’ application forms will be shortlisted and called for admission. The students must submit their applications online by visiting the official website.

XLRI Online MBA Admission Process   

The admission process at XLRI for the Online PGDM program online. During the final selection of candidates, the University will verify the application form submitted by the candidates. They have 2 academic batches for Online MBA/ PGDM. I.e., in January (batch 1) and July (batch 2). 

The official website will mention all the details about the timeline, schedule of the admission process and more. By visiting the website, candidates will learn about the admission notification, release of the application form, deadline to submit the form, application fees, form fee payment method and more.

• Candidates must register their details through the Apply Now page using the XLRI University official website.
• The webpage will have a pop-up where the students can register for the program by entering basic details. 
• Once the registration is done, the candidates shall fill in the application form about their program choice. 
• The candidates must select their course of choice and its speciality according to their eligibility and then fill in the details.
• The candidates must upload essential docs in the specified format. Also, the page will redirect the candidates to upload the docs such as 10th and 12th marks sheet, DOB, Photo ID proof, work experience, etc. 
• To complete this process, the candidates must pay the initial registration amount and make the seat booking for the program. 
• The commencement of classes will happen according to the academic calendar set by the University.
