National Institute Of Industrial Engineering Admission

National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was formally established as National Institute for Training in Industrial Engineering in 1963. The Institute is offering management programs that are Post Graduate Diploma with several specializations. The Institute is also offering a fellowship program with one specialization in Industrial Engineering.      

• Students seeking admission to the PGDIM or PGDSIEM program will have to hold a valid score in the CAT exam along with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology.
• Students will be selected for PGDIM or PGDSIEM based on the performance in the CAT exam, followed by GD & PI.
• A valid score in GATE Exam along with B.Tech or BE is eligible for PGDIE or PGDMM or PGDPM program.
• Students will be selected for PGDIE or PGDMM, or PGDPM programs based on GATE exam performance, GATE exam followed by GD & PI.
• Students must hold a master's degree with at least 60% marks to apply for the Fellowship program.
• Selection for admission to the Fellowship program is based on the NITIE admission test, research presentation, Writing skills test, and Personal Interview.
• 15% seats are reserved for the Supernumerary quota for international students.

Fellowship Program

NITIE Mumbai PGD Admissions:

The institute is offering various specializations in Post Graduate Diploma (PGD). The students will have to hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with at least 60% marks from a well-recognized university. The students must have a valid score in the CAT exam for qualifying for the admission procedure. The students will be finalized for admissions based on performance in group discussion followed by personal interview.

The Institute has reserved 15% seats for sponsored students. The students must be from a reputed industrial organization or academic institution with at least 60% marks in B.Tech or BE with at least two years of experience in work. CAT exam marks are not mandatory for the sponsored students, but they will have to attend the Institute’s entrance test followed by a personal interview round.

NITIE Mumbai Fellowship Program Admission:

The Institute is offering a fellowship program for the students in the Industrial engineering program. Students must possess basic eligibility of master's degree or equivalent in applicable disciplines with at least 60% Marks from a well-recognized university. The students will be selected based on marks obtained in the institute's entrance test, followed by research presentation, Writing Skills, and personal interview.
