Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, also known as MGMMC, is a government medical college located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Established in 1948, it is one of the oldest and most reputed government medical institutions in Central India. This college is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University. The institute is connected to the famous Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital, which is a 1,500-bed tertiary care teaching hospital that offers extensive clinical exposure to both undergraduates and postgraduates. The college presently admits 250 MBBS students every year and offers over 250 postgraduate seats in various MD and MS specializations.
Undergraduate course is MBBS, postgraduates are MD and MS, and super-specialty courses are DM and M.Ch offered by MGM Medical College. Besides, the college also runs B.Sc. Nursing and allied health science courses. Admissions to the MBBS courses are made based on NEET UG scores through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% All India Quota and the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh for 85% State Quota. PG admissions are based on NEET PG through MCC and MP DME counselling. Being a government medical college, MGM Medical College does not offer Management or NRI quota seats for MBBS admissions.

For admission into UG (MBBS) course in MGM Medical College, aspirant must appear for NEET entrance examination. NEET is all India level entrance examination which is conducted online mostly in the months of May and candidates can fill the online application form in 1st week of February. Application fee for general and OBC candidates is INR 1,500 and for SC/ST candidates it is around INR 800. In addition to this minimum eligibility mandatory for admission is that, student must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry, biology and English as the compulsory subject with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
