Gyan Vihar School of Engineering and Technology (GVSET) was established as a private institution in 2000. It is a part of Gyan Vihar University. GVSET offers UG and PG courses in Engineering streams. Apart from UG & PG, Diploma and Ph.D. courses are also available. NBA accredits engineering programs offered by GVSET. It is familiar as one of the world-class institutions for academic excellence. • GVSET offers B Tech in seven disciplines at the UG level. Students eligible with a minimum of 45% marks at the 10+2 level can seek B Tech admission at GVSET.
• GVSET B Tech Specializations are Civil, Agricultural, Electrical, ECE, Mechanical, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence
• Selection norms for B Tech at GVSET depend on JEE Main Score. Thus, students have to appear for JEE Main and get eligible with a valid rank.
• Seat allocation for B Tech takes place through REAP Counselling. Students have to register for REAP based on JEE Main marks. After that, the counseling authority declares a merit list.
• Students whose name features in the REAP Merit List can participate in REAP Counselling. Through counseling phases, candidates can fill the choice of the course and college.
• If students have not appeared for JEE Main, they will choose to attend the GVSAT entrance exam. It is a college-level admission test held by Gyan Vihar University.
• Students willing to apply for B Tech Lateral Program admission at GVSET must have done their diploma with the required aggregate marks. Through this, students can seek direct admission for the second year.
• GVSET offers M Tech at the PG Level. 10 seats are available for M Tech. B Tech graduates with at least 50% can look for M Tech admission at GVSET.  In the SC /ST Category case, they can obtain at least 45% at the UG level.
• M Tech contains six branches: Power system, VLSI Design, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Manufacturing & Industrial, and Digital & Wireless Communication.
• Students who have secured a good score in the national level exam are GATE have to attend CAM Counselling. (Centralized admission for M Tech) Non-GATE qualifiers can seek admission based on their aggregate marks in UG degree.
• Besides UG & PG, GVSET offers a diploma for three years. Candidates who have passed in 10^th from any recognized board can seek admission in Diploma at GVSET. The minimum qualifying mark is 35%.  Candidates who have done the ITI course can seek admission to the diploma lateral.
• At GVSET, Ph.D. is available in the engineering stream. For Ph.D. admission, students must have done their PG degree M Tech in a relevant discipline. To get eligible, students must obtain at least 60% at the PG level.
