MC provides MBBS courses with 4.6 years and one year of internship and PG courses MD with three years and MS with two years. The intake for the MBBS course is 150.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for MBBS:

  • The student must have passed in 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% of marks with PCB/Biotech as subjects and 40% for SC and ST category students from a recognized board to be eligible for MBBS in GMC Srinagar.
  • Admissions for students are based on marks scored in the NEET UG entrance exam.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for MD and MS:

  • The student should have a graduation and a bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS) from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.

Admissions for students are based on marks scored in the NEET PG entrance exam.

The candidate must be graduated and must have Bachelor Degree in Medicine (MBBS)

UG courses

Age: As of 31st December of the year of admission, the candidate age should be 17 years or above

Education Qualification :

Aspirants should have completed the 12th or intermediate exam by CBSE or State Board or Equivalent.

Aspirants should obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate score in 12th from a  recognized board.

Institute will provide 5% relaxation to aspirants from reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC.
