Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies was initiated in 2010. The institute, which was shortly known as DSIMS, is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Mumbai University. NAAC has also accredited it with a B+ grade.

The college has received several rankings and recognitions for its successful functioning as an educational institute. Some of the rankings are: The Institute has been ranked with 177 positions given by IndiaToday for its MBA results as of 2023. TOI ranked 36th for MBA results in 2023. The only major programs offered by DSIMS are MMS and Ph.D. However, MMS is known to be their flagship program. MMS is a 2-year program, and its syllabus is AICTE-approved. Upon completion of the MMS program, DSIMS will provide a certificate from Mumbai University. The program aims to nurture employable managers. The MMS specializations offered by the Institute are Finance, HRM, Operations, and Marketing Management. The total intake of students for MMS is 120 on an annual basis.

The basic eligibility criteria for Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies course admissions is to have passed a graduation degree with an average of 50% marks. The other requirement for selection is to have a non-zero score in the MAHCET state-level entrance exam or CAT/ CMAT at the national level. Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies Admission Process

The DSIMS admission process will be accepted online and offline. Once the applicants have the desired eligibility, they can apply according to their choice. In online mode, students must visit the official website to get all the details about the course admissions and application process. Below are the given steps to be followed.

  • Fill out the Durgadevi Saraf College Online Application form.
  • Enter the program name in the given option.
  • Then, proceed with filling in the personal details. This will generate a unique reference ID. 
  • Using this ID, applicants can check the status of the application form.
  • Enter details like personal, academic, and work experience if relevant.
  • Upload photo and other supporting transcripts of academic records or work experience (if required) in scanned format.
  • Pay the application fee by DD in favour of the college name. Forms without DD will not be considered.
  • The application fee for any of the programs is INR 1000.
  • Submit the application form.
  • Print the complete submitted application form and send it to the institute's office address, along with the DD, to the DSIMS campus address.

In offline mode, students can easily download it from the website, take the printout and fill it out manually. These forms can be sent through post to the college address. After the forms are submitted, they will be shortlisted and called for PI rounds to get the final seat.

DDSIMS offers only M.M.S. and Ph.D. courses as a part of their academics. The college provides no M.B.A. program.
