Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Science, is situated in Bangalore and is one of the significant departments of the IISc. This institute is shortly termed DMS-IISc and was established in 1947. DMS-IISc offers a Master’s degree in Management stream. The total intake capacity for this Master's degree course is 15 students. DMS-IISc provides management programs at the post-graduation level. IISc- DMS is an MBA in two disciplines, namely Business Analytics and Technology Management. For MBA admissions in IISc, Candidates must have a B.E or B.Tech with at least 60% aggregate. Candidates must carry valid marks in competitive exams like GATE, CAT, or GMAT for MBA admissions. The candidates' final selection will be based on personal interviews and group discussions.

Applicants interested in taking admission to the MBA program will have to apply through the IISc official website via the online application form. The IISc application process usually begins in February every year.

1. Candidates must visit the institute's official website.
2. The application form should be duly filled and submitted. After that, the page will be redirected to paying the application fee.
3. The application fee should be paid via credit card, net banking, debit card, online transfer of money, and UPI.
4. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the application fee receipt and application form for further reference.
5. Selected candidates will have to attend the group discussions and personal interviews conducted in April.
6. All the documents are to be provided during the time of the interview.
