Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) is a top private medical college in Punjab. It is in Civil Lines, Tagore Nagar, Ludhiana. The college started as Arya Medical School in 1934 and became a full-fledge MBBS college in 1964. It is linked to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The Indian government also recognizes it.

MCH Ludhiana has undergraduate programs such as BSc Nursing and BSc Paramedical for those who desire a career in healthcare. The BSc Nursing program only has 100 seats and is filled based upon the Punjab Paramedical Entrance Test that is administered by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.
The college also teaches BSc Paramedical courses in various fields, each of which has a different number of seats and are filled via the same method as BSc Nursing. Each course contains both classroom instruction and clinical hands-on experiences, therefore qualifying the graduate to work in a hospital environment and other areas of the healthcare system.

DMCH takes 100 MBBS students each year. Admission depends on NEET UG rank. Out of the 100 seats, 15 percent are for the All India Quota through MCC counselling. The other 85 percent are for Punjab state quota counselling by BFUHS. There are also seats for management and NRI quotas. You need to be a Punjab resident for state quota seats. Students from other states can apply through the All India Quota.
Eligibility – MBBS
• You must have finished Class 12 from a recognized board.
• You need to have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• General category students need at least 50 percent in PCB.
• Reserved category students need at least 40 percent in PCB.
• You must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.

DMCH has 100 B.Sc Nursing seats annually. Admissions are on the basis of Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test (PPMET) conducted by BFUHS. Candidates should have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Minimum 45 percent marks in PCB are required for general category students. Seat allotment is done through centralized PPMET counselling. The B.Sc Nursing program is 4 years long. After completion, graduates can appear for M.Sc Nursing entrance tests.

I can say admission fee is reasonable and also it is manageable to pay because most of the medical college demands high fee but in this college fee is quiet moderate. Dayanand Medical College & Hospital Ludhiana admissions for MBBS course are given on the basis of NEET Entrance Exam and it will be organized by CBSE.
