Asian Workers Development Institute Admission

The Bastia Memorial Trust created the Asian Workers Development Institute (AWDI) in 1981. The college is affiliated with Sambalpur University. It is also an ISO Certified Institution. The college provides a variety of streams in the PGDM, PG Diploma in Industrial Personnel Management (PGDIRPM), PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS), Diploma in Environmental Education Management (DEEM), and B.Lib. The vision of the college is to develop workers training centre to provide education to the weaker sectoons and for the workmen who belong to Agriculture Industry.

• A CAT/MAT  is required for admission to a PGDM program, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview performance.
• PDIS admission is granted by the Directorate of Technical Education and Training (DTE&T), Odisha, based on merit in the qualifying degree, followed by web-based counselling.
• Direct admission to PGDIRPM, DEEM, and B.Lib is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• On the institute's website, the application form is available in both online and offline formats.
• The institute follows the Government of Odisha's reservation policy for SC/ST/OBC/Minorities/PH and Women candidates.

AWDI, Rourkela PG Admission

PGDM, PGDIRPM, PDIS, and B.LIb are all available at AWDI. Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline to be eligible for these courses.

• Candidates appearing in the final year degree exam can even apply for admission.
• AWDI will offer PGDM admission based on the student's performance in CAT or MAT. For the final selection process, AWDI conducts GD & PI rounds. 

 AWDI, Rourkela DEEM Admission

AWDI also offers admission to the DEEM (Diploma in Environmental Education). The annual intake is 24 seats. Candidates wo have done their UG degree/Diploma in Engineering streams or 12th Pass in science stream can apply for admission. In addition, students must have relevant work experience. Selection is based on first come first serve basis followed by document verification procedure.

Candidates must adhere to the instructions and provide relevant personal and academic information.

Candidates will be assigned an Identification No (ID) after successfully submitting the form, which must be retained for future reference.

The application cost must be paid in the form of a demand draught from any nationalized bank, payable in Rourkela, in favour of "Asian Workers Development Institute."

Offline :

Application forms can also be acquired directly from the institute for cash or by sending the required application money and mailing it to AWDI.
