SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering in short known as SRMJEEE is been conducted to check the eligibility for the candidates willing to seek admission at the reputed institute in its 4 campuses. The examination is conducted through online mode at the exam centers established in the cities of every Indian state.

SRMJEEE 2019 Eligibility criteria

Aspirants willing to join SRM University have to take up SRMJEEE 2019 entrance examination. The eligibility for the entrance exam is 12th from a recognized board. Below mentioned are some of the details in regards to eligibility criteria for applying foe SRMJEEE 2019.




Indian nationals/Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India


Candidates born between July 1, 1997 to July 1, 2002


12th or Intermediate from a recognized board


Kattankulathar campus: minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM.

Ramapur, Sonepat, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad (NCR) campuses: minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM.

SRM Amaravati campus: minimum 75% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam in PCM.


Candidates must have passed their class 12th in not more than 2 attempts.

  • Age: Candidates willing to take SRMJEEE 2019 should be born within July 1, 1997 to July 1, 2002.
  • Nationality: Candidates should be Indian by Nationality. Candidates like Non Resident Indian (NRI), holding PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India can also attend.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed 12th or intermediate from a recognized board with mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
  • Marks: For Amaravati campus candidates should attain a minimum of 75% aggregate in PCM subjects. For Kattankulathar campus candidates should minimum attain 60% aggregate score in PCM subjects and for Ramapur, Sonepat, Vadapalani and NCR campus candidates should minimum attain 50% aggregate score in 12th with PCM subjects.   
  • Attempts: Candidates should have taken maximum 2 attempts and not more to that to attend SRMJEEE 2019.

Candidates willing to take SRMJEEE 2019 will have to majorly focus on the syllabus of class 11th and 12th. The syllabus consists of four major subjects, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Various topics covered under these subjects.

Steps to fill SRMJEEE 2019 Application form:

  • Visit the official website of SRMJEEE and navigate to new registration.
  • Provide the required details like name, contact number, mail Id and password.
  • Select the required exam center and the city and submit.
  • Upload the scanned copy of signature, qualification certificates and recent passport size photograph.
  • Once the documents are uploaded make the payment and confirm the registration.

SRMJEEE 2019 is a mandatory document to be carried to the examination center. The admit card contains all the necessary information like exam dates, venue details, application number details, etc.

  • Admit card has to be retained by the candidate even after examination till the time of admission.

  • Candidates are supposed to carry a photo ID card to the exam center along with admit card.
  • In case any candidate fails to carry their admit card to the exam center, he/she will be disqualified from the examination.
