SBI CLERK EXAM 2019 - State Bank Of India

State Bank of India has openings for various posts. SBI conducts various entrance exams for various post recruitment. On an average, every year more than 20000 posts will be opened for clerical level and probationary officer level posts. The recruitment notification for the above mentioned posts will be declared in the month of May/June every year.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2019 will be opened for the posts for Junior Agriculture Associates Junior Associate into Customer Support and Sales. The exam details along with the eligibility criteria will be mentioned below.

The schedules for the examination will be notified by the considered authorities and the application from the enrollment of the examination will be made available through SBI official website in the month of January 2019. Exam Important Dates:

The SBI Clerk Exam 2019 the registration through online mode will commence from 20th January 2019 till 10th February 2019. The schedules mentioned in the table below are tentative and might change according to the official notice issued by the central examination authorities. The exams are supposed to commence in the month of June followed by the main exam in the month of August 2019

Exam Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification: The required minimum qualification to enroll for this examination is graduation.  
  • Nationality: The aspirants should to be an Indian to register for the examination. Aspirants from Bangladesh, Nepal or Bhutan should provide a valid certificate of their permanent residency.
  • Age Criteria: The minimum age limit to enroll for this exam is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years for general category applicants. Whereas, the age criteria differs for reserved category applicants as mentioned in the below table.

Preliminary Exam Pattern:

The duration allotted for the examination is 1 hour and the total question asked is 100. Aspirants will be allotted with +1 mark for every right answer and -0.2 marks for every wrong answer provided. The prelims exam paper will be segregated into 3 sections, namely English, numerical ability and reasoning ability.

Main Exam Pattern:

The main exam will be conducted for the duration of 2 hours and 40 minutes. Applications are asked 190 questions out of which every wright answer will gain +1 mark and every wrong answer will secure -0.25 marks. The question paper will be divided into 4 sections and the score allotted for every section is mentioned in the below given table.

Exam Application Form:

Aspirants willing to register for the SBI Clerk Examination can register their name through online mode by visiting the official website. The form filling procedure consists of the following steps:

  • Visit SBI official website and click on the link “apply online here”.
  • Carefully read the written instruction and complete the form filling procedure with accurate details.
  • Upload the scanned copy of the applicants photograph and signature.
  • Make the payment of the application form through debit card/credit card/net banking.
  • Submit the duly filled application from and take the print out of the application form for the further use.

Exam Admit Card Details:

The admit card for SBI Clerk Examination will be available through official website. Applicants will be provided with registration number and password. Candidates can enter the same and download the admit card. Separate admit card will be provided for primary exam and main exam.

Exam Selection Procedure:

The selection procedure for the examination will consists of two rounds. Candidates will have to clear the selection procedure stages. The 1st stage will be Preliminary Examination and the 2nd stage will be Main Examination.

Exam Results and Cutoff:

Results for the examination will be published through SBI official website and candidates can check their results by logging in from their registration number and password. The cutoff for the examination will be provided in the below mentioned table for reference.
