VITEEE is the open gate exam for getting admissions to the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) for engineering courses at the UG level. The conducting authority has now released the exam date for VITEEE 2021, which is likely to be held from 18 June to 26 June 2021. VITEEE is national level exam happening online, conducted through a computer-based system.
The exam is for 2.5 hours with 125 MCQ questions divided into three different sections: physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Aptitude, and English subjects, with appropriate topics and weightage given to all areas. More than 120+ colleges are participating in this exam throughout the country.

The exam results and counseling dates will be revealed later after completing the examination. And post counseling session, the admission process for the allotted college will begin according to dates available in the respective institutions.
As discussed by the VITEEE authority’s areas, Eligibility Criteria must have passed in 10+12 board exams with at least 60 in all three major subject combinations like PCM. The students should be citizens of this country, and this institution also accepts NRI candidates’ applications.
Step 1- Registering and creating login credentials: the interested students should visit the VITEEE exam page and get themselves registered; while registering for the exam, they will have to make their personalized log in details, and these login passwords will be used in further steps of filing the application form.
Step 2- Verification mail: After registering, the candidates will get a verification mail sent to their mail ID to ensure the contact details are right. Then the process is continued to fill the details in the application form for VITEEE 2021
Step 3- Fill-up of Details: Here, complete details of the candidate with personal and academic information need to be filled with exact percentage and University details. He/she should also put information about the course chosen, and any three options of possible exam center should be mentioned.
Step 4- Paying the application fee amount: once the details are filled, the page will automatically redirect towards paying the fee amount, i.e., INR 1150-1200 (online and offline, respectively)
Step 5- Uploading Documents and Photos: Before submitting the form, the candidate should carefully attach all the essential photos and documents digitally and cross-check while pressing the final submission button.
Step 6- Submission and downloading of application form: after the form is with all the formalities, the registered students must take a physical copy of the paper for later stages.
VIT's final selection will majorly depend on VITEEE 2021 marks. The shortlisted students will then attend the personal interview and GD sessions that the institution's panel members will take part in the process. Both the performances are in consideration, and then the admission is confirmed.
