TANCET 2021: Release of Admit Card; Read below to know all other information. TANCET is an entrance exam conducted annually by Anna University, which is acceptable only in Tamil Nadu state as it performs to be one of the widely accepted common admission tests in the state. The application window has been closed, and the exams will be conducted shortly. Now the conducting body, i.e., Anna University, has released the admit card or the hall ticket, which is essential for taking up the exam. All the updates and necessary information will be listed on the official website at annauniv.edu. These examination scores are considered for providing admissions for MBA, MCA, M-Tech, M.Plan, and M.Arch, etc. 

According to the given timetable of the examination, the exam for MBA and MCA aspirants will be on March 20, 2021, and for the candidates willing to attempt for M-Tech, M.Arch and M.Planning will be on March 21, 2021. This year TANCET examination will be held in 2 shifts (morning and evening), i.e., the first shift will begin from 10 am to 12 pm, and the second shift will begin from noon 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. 

Candidates can download the TANCET Admit Card 2021 as stated below, as only the registered candidates will be getting their admit cards. The same will be available on the exam website till the day of the exam. 

Step 1: The candidates will be notified about the release of admit card, and they will have to visit the Anna University webpage at annauniv.edu

Step 2: The homepage will display the admit card tab on the screen, and the candidates can click on it and further proceed with downloading the hall ticket 

Step 3: When clicked on the admit card tab, it will open a new page where the candidates will have to type their name and other concerned details so that the respective admit card will open on the screen.

Step 4: Once they login to the correct page, candidates will have to properly check all the information published on the admit card and then click on the download button in the specified format

Step 5: Download the correct TANCET admit card 2021 and take more than one copy to be safe, as it is essential till the exam results are out. 

Note: Things to check on the admit card are a correct photograph of the candidate, scanned signature, timetable along with timings and dates, address, application no. etc. If there are any changes to be made on the admit card, then the concerned authorities should be informed immediately and solve it before the commencement of the exam.

The exam pattern of TANCET 2021 to get a better understanding is as below.

  • The TANCET 2021 is conducted in offline mode, i.e., by the PBT method.
  • The total exam time duration is for 2 hours or 120 minutes.
  • The total questions asked for MBA and MCA paper is 100, and for M.E. or M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan, it is 115 questions.
  • The paper's total value will be 100 marks as one mark will be rewarded for every right answer. 
  • According to the marking guide, for every wrong answer, 1/3 of the marks will be deducted.

Results of TANCET 2021

As per the announced timetable, the exam results will be available on or before April 16, 2021, and the result will be published online mode on the Website of Anna University. The result can be taken by given by entering all the login details for downloading the result scorecard.

The result card of TANCET will include marks section-wise, percentage, etc., where the rank list will be given while selecting the students for admissions in the interested colleges.  

Counselling Procedure of TANCET 2021

After the results are out for TANCET 2021, the next step is to continue with the counseling process. Students participating will have to be physically present for the counseling process to verify documents and then seat allotment.
