KCET 2024 Counseling Process?

Step 1: Document Verification

  • If you did well on the KCET exam, take your scorecard, school marks (10th and 12th), photos, and other required documents (like caste certificate if applicable) to a designated center. They will check your documents and give you a special ID and password to use later.

Step 2: Choose Your College and Course

  • Once your documents are verified, you can log in with your ID and password to choose which colleges and courses you want to go to. You can make a list in order of your preference, and even change it before a certain date. There will be a list of how many seats are available in each college course.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

  • After everyone chooses, a list will come out showing who got into which college (based on their score and choices). This is like a practice round, so you can see your chances. You can even change your choices after seeing this list. There will be a few rounds of this happening, giving you more chances to get into your preferred college.

Step 4: Admission

If you get accepted into a college, you will need to go there in person by a certain date. Bring your documents, and acceptance letter, and pay some fees to confirm your spot in the college.
