JEE Main 2020 to Be Held From July 18th July to 23rd July

NTA releases the JEE Main 2020 examination dates. JEE Main 2020 to be conducted from 18th of July 2020 to 23rd of July 2020.

JEE Main 2020 examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin from 18th of July 2020 and end on 23rd of July 2020. NTA has announced that the JEE Main 2020 will be conducted in 2 different shifts this year. However the JEE Main 2020 second session was previously declared to be held in the month of April 2020 which is been now postponed to 18th of July 2020 due to COVID 10 lockdown. The JEE Main 2020 examination will be conducted according to the guideline issued to maintain social distancing considering the speared of corona virus pandemic.

Here are some of the preparation tips for JEE Main 2020:

  • Though trying exercises from the books, make sure that every question takes around 2 minutes to solve as JEE Main is a 3 hour exam with 75 questions, which means we have just over 2 minutes per question.
  • Stress more on the benefits of practicing previous years’ question papers as more you solve the previous year paper the more beneficial it becomes especially in time management, increasing the speed as well as improvement of accuracy of the answers.
  • During revision, post completion of each chapters, takes test and calculate the score, study and rectify the mistakes.
  • Implement 3 point strategy: first be giving equal weightage to all the topics, second be distribute the time by giving less time to topics that just need revision and more time to difficult topics and third be evaluating yourself continuously will help the students to get examination ready for JEE Main 2020.

NTA had reopened the application form correction window and had allowed students to change their exam centers. This initiative was taken as per the request made by the applicants. Candidates were allowed to make changes of examination centers in JEE Main application form based on their current location. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken all the possible steps to conduct the JEE Main 2020 examination smoothly without making it inconvenient for the students. The authorities have taken steps to avoid physical contact by implementing social distancing in the examination halls with the view concerned to student’s health.

The results for second session of JEE Main 2020 will be declared in the month of August 2020. Post declaration of the results candidates can appear for the JEE Advanced 2020. However only the eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for the JEE Advanced 2020 examination which is an entrance exam for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT’s)
