Counseling dates of WBJEE 2022

WBJEE-West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2022 is an offline exam. The exam was concluded on 30 April 2022. The WBJEE 2022 results were released on 17 June. But, the WBJEE counseling 2022 dates will be announced soon by the notified on the official website. Students who are qualified for the WBJEE exam 2022 will be called for the WBJEE counseling process. However, the candidates qualified in JEE Main can also apply for WBJEE counseling sessions. The WBJEEB will announce the counseling dates soon after getting the seat matrix from the competent authority.

Once the board announces the dates, the qualified candidates must register for the WBJEE Counseling process.

The basic steps in counseling involve registration, choice filling of college and courses, payment of seat acceptance fee, and provisional admission. WBJEE Counseling is done in two phases. The first phase is for Technology, Engineering, and Pharmacy field. The second phase is only for JEE Main candidates.

• Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements and WBJEE rank 2022 qualified rank can register for counseling.
• The registrations for counseling rounds can be done only at the beginning of the first round.
• WBJEE Counseling sessions will be held in three rounds, i.e., Allotment, Up gradation, and Mop Up.
• To complete the registration, Candidates must pay a registration fee of INR 500, which is non-refundable.
• The counseling will be based on the seat matrix approved by the authority, and the candidates will be allotted to one of the institutes, and courses are given on the list by the WBJEE board website.
• Once the board reserves the seats, they cannot be converted or de-reserve any vacant seats in the general or reserved category.
• The available vacant seats under the TFW category cannot be converted to General or unreserved.

Here is the complete process of the counseling.

• The eligible students must register by visiting the official website at- wbjeeb.nic.in.
• While registering for the counseling, candidates must enter the results of WBJEE 2022 info and upload the necessary documents for verification.
• The counseling registration will complete after making the counseling fee payment.
• Later, the candidate must also select the institution and courses of interest and choice.
• Once the counseling session is completed, the seats are allotted based on merit, preference, and availability.
• Lastly, the candidates must submit the docs in physical form for document verification.
• Once the allotment is done, the candidates must submit the allotment letter to the institution for admission confirmation.
