About Maharashtra Academy of Navel Education and Training:
Maharashtra Academy of Navel Education and Training, Pune entrance exam, acronym as MANET MET conducted by the academy for providing admission in B.Tech in Marine engineering and B.Sc Nautical Science courses of the academy. This ensures that all the marine officers passing out through the portals of the MANET will be successful with the highest honors in the certificate of Competency Examination conducted by Government of India, Ministry of Shipping and will be gainfully employed in the leading shipping companies of the world.
Eligibility Criteria:

Aggregate 60% in PCM in XII standard

50% in English either X or XII standard

Age: below 23 years

The Upper age limit for admission relaxed for SC / ST candidates by 5 Years.

Marital Status: unmarried

Physical fitness:
The Institute has laid down detailed minimum physical fitness and medical standards (Please, Refer the link Medical Requirement from the menu- B. Tech Marine Engineering)
The candidate has to meet these standards to qualify for admission. Candidates are advised to have themselves medically examined by competent doctors before applying. This will ensure that candidates meet the minimum requirements, which in turn will avoid disappointment at a later stage.

To apply online candidates have to fill application form from the official website and submit it.

After submission of online application form, an automated mail will be sent on registered e-mail ID.

Hard copy of online application form must be sent along DD to the office.

To apply offline, download application form from the website, fill it and send it along with DD at the office.
