MAHARASHTRA MH CET 2019 - Maharashtra Common Entrance Test

MH CET abbreviated as Maharashtra Common Entrance Test also known as Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test in short MHT CET is a state level entrance examination conducted by Government of Maharashtra under the supervision of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra.

MH CET 2019 is a key for the aspirants seeking for admission in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Pharm courses. The examination will be held in offline mode for which the candidates has to register online.

MH CET 2019 will be held in 36 exam centers in various districts of Indian state Maharashtra. Around 4 lakhs students appear for the MH CET examination every year. Admission through MH CET 2019 will be based on the counseling of the merit list of the students.

Maharashtra MH CET 2019 Eligibility criteria

MH CET 2019 has different eligibilities for students applying for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria vary from home state candidates to the candidates belonging to of other states. The eligibility criteria is based on the age, qualification, score attained etc., of the candidates which are strictly considered.

  • Age: MH CET 2019 does not have any kind of age criteria for the candidates appearing for the examination.
  • Subjects: Candidates should have studied mandatory subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology or any other professional subjects.
  • Nationality: Aspirants appearing for MH CET 2019 has to be an Indian.
  • Education: Candidates should minimum obtain 50% aggregate in 12th and the candidates belonging to the reserved category should attain minimum of 45% aggregate in 12th.
  • MKB Candidates: If a candidate belongs to the areas specified as disputes like Karnataka and Maharashtra border, the candidates has to produce a domicile certificate and his/her mother tongue has to be Marathi.

Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra will announce the availability of MH CET 2019 application form through its official website. The candidates can fill the application form online and register for the exam. The duly filled application form along with accurate details has to be submitted on time to enroll successfully.

Steps to fill application form of Maharastra CET 2019 Exam:

  • Visit MH CET 2019 official website and navigate to Apply Online.
  • Enter the details like name, date of birth, address, city, email Id, phone number, bank details, etc.
  • Click on submit button and the password will be generated for further use.
  • After form filling upload the scanned copy of candidates photograph and signature.
  • After uploading the scanned documents make the payment online.

Important Notes:

  • Any kind of incomplete application from will be rejected from the MH CET 2019 authorities.

  • The notifications will be mailed to the registered email Id, still the candidates have to keep a regular check for the updates through official website.

Exam Patter details:

  • Mode: MH CET 2019 is a pen and paper based examination conducted through offline mode.
  • Duration: MH CET 2019 will be conducted for 90 minutes, i.e., 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • Medium: MH CET 2019 examination will be conducted in three languages. Candidates can appear for the exam in English, Marathi and Urdu languages.
  • Format: MH CET 2019 is an objective based exam; the questions will be in the form of multiple choice questions. Each question will be given four options.

MH CET 2019 is conducted based on the syllabus of class 11th and 12th. Some of the important topics and chapters are mentioned below for the student’s reference. Knowing the important topics will help the students in getting prepared for the 2019 examination.

Maharashtra MH CET 2019 Admit Card

Admit card for MH CET 2019 will be available online from the official website of MH CET council for the candidates registered for the entrance examination. Candidates before downloading the admit card should check all the details mentioned are correct and download the admit card for further use.

Important Notes:

  • Admit card will be available only from the official website of MH CET 2019.
  • Cross check for the details mentioned on the admit card, if and details is wrong immediately contact the concerned authorities.
  • Candidate’s fails to carry admit card to the exam center will not be allowed to write the MH CET 2019 exam.
  • Carry a photo identity proof to the exam center along with the admit card.
  • Plagiarizing and Tampering the MH CET 2019 admit card is a punishable offence.

 

Maharashtra MH CET 2019 Results & Score Card

MHT CET 2019 results will be declared by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra through online mode. The candidates will have to access their results online by logging in with their respective id’s and passwords and take a print out for further use. MH CET 2019 result will be declared of the student appeared for state level entrance test. MH CET 2019 authority will not communicate the result to any candidates through post or any other means.

Maharashtra MH CET 2019 Counselling & Admission

MH CET 2019 counseling will start soon after the declaration of result. The counseling sessions will be held in 3 rounds on different dates. The seat allotment is based on the rank obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination. MH CET 2019 counseling is a Centralized Counseling Process (CAP). In case of any vacant seats additional CAP rounds will also be conducted.

Counseling Process:

  • Candidates should fill the counseling application form online from the official website.
  • Candidates should visit the counseling center in person for documents verification.
  • Candidates are requested to participate in choice fill and locking process.
  • Counseling department will provide provisional merit list of eligible candidates.
  • Candidates should report at the college allotted after the final CAP round for confirmation.
  • Candidates should mandatorily carry their admit card and score card for counseling.

  • Provide all the required details like name, address, contact number etc.
  • Also enter the qualification and examination details of the previous examination.
  • Upload the scanned copy of recent passport size photograph of the candidate.
