Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT) is a private university which was established in 2004.The selection of applicants is done on the basis of the JEE (Main) ranks, therefore, the official authority will not conduct any separate examination. Seat reservations are available for Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals.

Their admissions are conducted through a separate channel called the Direct Admission of Foreign and NRI Students (DAFS).

DA-IICT Eligibility criteria

The Eligibility Criteria of DAIICT B. Tech are given below:

  • Candidates must have passed 10 +2 with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology as an optional subject from a recognized board.
  • The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination also eligible to apply for consideration of provisional admission.
  • Only candidates who were born on or after October 1, 1995 are eligible to apply.

For M.Tech (lCT):
Candidate must have qualified BE /B.Tech in ICT or associated disciplines, M.Sc or MCA Degree, M.S/M.Sc of DAIICT with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent

For M.Sc (IT): candidate must hold graduation degree of any stream with minimum 60% marks or correspondent in 10th, 12th and Graduation levels.

For M.Sc (ICT-ARD):
Candidate must hold graduation degree in Agriculture, Computer, or Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent.

For M.Des (CD):
Candidate should be graduates of Engineering /Fine Arts/ Design /Applied Arts/ Humanities/Professional Diploma/ Performing Arts with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent.

For Ph.D course:
candidate should be Post-Graduates of in Humanities, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent or Graduates in Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent.

DA-IICT Application Form & fees

The application form will be available on the official portal from April to June .Candidates must make sure that they are having the following documents and details before filling the online B.Tech Application Form:

  • Scanned image of latest passport size photograph (Size of the image should not be more than 50 kb).
  • All the contact details like address, contact no (mobile), valid email id
  • JEE Main Roll No.
  • Application fee:
  • The application form fee will be Rs.1200 which can be paid through Credit / Debit Card / Net Banking / Paytm Wallet details

DA-IICT Syllabus & Exam Pattern

There is no separate examination for DAIICT. The JEE (Main) scores and the 12th grade scores will be considered for admission, therefore the exam pattern of the same is given below:

  • The exam will be organized in the computer based format.
  • Each question consists of 4 marks.
  • 25 marks will be subtracted as the punishment for an incorrect response.
  • 180 minutes or 3 hours will be allowed to solve the exam.
  • The exam will be in the English only.
  • The paper 1 comprises of 90 questions hence the total marks for the exam is 360

DA-IICT Counselling & Admission

The Counselling for B. Tech Admissions will be done through two ways:

  • 50% of the seats will be filled through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat
  • Rest of the 50% seats will be filled through DAIICT.

Documents required for Verification:
Candidates must bring the following documents in original and with one set of photocopies of all the documents for B.Tech Counselling :-

  • Class 10th pass certificate and marks sheet
  • Class 12th pass Certificate and Marks sheet (if available)
  • JEE Main Score Card
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • School Leaving Certificate from the institute / school last attended
